Germany’s Youth Program…

“Pitch Invasion” has a good piece on why Germany is playing well this World Cup. They and the “Guardian” looked at the development of their youth system after a disappointing result in the 1998 World Cup. Germany is the second youngest team in South Africa.
It is a good read, certainly England and the USA could learn from what Germany is doing. In fact, the German Bundesliga and Major League Soccer (MLS) signed a partnership agreement in January 2010 that will see the two leagues collaborate on everything from player development to marketing.
