Improvements at the Emirates Stadium via 20/20
Posted by mdavis on Sep.02, 2010, under Entertainment No Comments
20/20 design firm is continuing their work with Arsenal to improve the fan experience at the Emirates stadium and I have to say that the place is looking first class.
The developments see the Woolwich suite in Club Level being divided into four distinctive areas – a buffet dining restaurant, a stylish bar, a high quality lounge and an exclusive à la carte restaurant named the WM Club, after Chapman’s revolutionary 3-2-2-3 WM formation, which will provide an unrivalled fine dining experience in sports stadia.
There is also the introduction of a luxurious new restaurant called The Foundry, which offers a buffet dining experience across two intimate spaces. The Foundry continues the celebration of past and present with contemporary lighting, furniture and finishes, contrasted by rich timber panelling and deep buttoned leather upholstered booths.
The enhancement also includes the refurbishment of the Legends Bar, which offers Club Level members the ultimate sports bar experience. The Legends Bar has been transformed into a stylish bar inspired by some of Arsenal’s all time greats whose portraits will decorate the elite area.
20|20 Creative Director, Jon Lee said: “Over the years we have been able to create and deliver new thinking on how a football club can best serve its loyal fan base. The trust Arsenal Football Club has installed in 20|20 has allowed us to work with them to develop a unique offer that will completely change the traditional match day experience. This will set a standard that others will follow but it is just the beginning.”

So yesterday we brought you an inside look at the FC Dallas dance team, today we are going to bring it a little closer to home and cover one of the teams in Los Angeles. Chiva Girls are now synonymous with Chivas USA here in Los Angeles and people actually really love them being at the matches. Check out the interview with Ashley A of the Chiva Girls, I am not so keen on her answers but the editing of the video is pretty funny. Check out chatting with a Chiva Girl after the break!

Colleen Rooney and a whip, what else do you want? I am ordinarily not a big fan of Colleen but she looks really great in this one.
Coleen Rooney whips the models into shape on set of new £4.5m advertising campaign
Perhaps this is how Coleen Rooney keeps husband Wayne in shape.
At any rate, with a leather whip tucked beneath her arm, the footballer certainly wouldn’t want to annoy her.
The young mother is a picture of authority in her new £4.5million advertising campaign for Littlewoods.com.

In Los Angeles with have the Chivas Girls and it looks like more MLS teams a following suit, including FC Dallas. I am more of a man then a purist I guess because you will never hear me complaining about having some hot women around.

Who is Brian Bedol? Major League Soccer mystery man
Posted by mdavis on Aug.17, 2010, under Entertainment No Comments
spotted at Major League Soccer
Who is Brian Bedol and why could he be a very important component to the future of Major League Soccer?
Brian Bedol has made his reputation launching and flipping Classic Sports to ESPN and CSTV to CBS and now he’s been hired as MLS’s new media and content consultant. Officially he has been hired to develop a media strategy for Major League soccer across broadcast, digital and mobile platforms.
Bedol launched Classic Sports Network in 1995 and sold it to ESPN for $175 million in 1997. He launched CSTV in 2003 before selling to CBS for $325 million in 2005. Since then, he’s been working on a startup company at MIT Media Lab as well as working with Plum TV and other early-stage investments. He has no formal consulting practice, and MLS is the only league he is advising.
