Unlike Hollywood where the celebs take the spotlight over athletes, London is all about football bad boys that make inordinate amounts of money and spend their Saturday’s at a table with a gaggle of women. David Beckham and the boys made a trip down to Anaheim to see LA’s other baseball team the Los Angeles Angel’s of Anaheim. Weir name right? It’s a long story. David looks about excited as most of us to go to one of the most boring events on the planet. A baseball game isn’t the most exciting thing in the world but try one at the end of August where the home team has no chance of making the playoffs. Absolutely awful!

Boys will be boys, especially professional footballers. Youth, money, and fame is a bad combination for many and over the last year we have seen several instances of what can happen in the midst of over indulgence.

The Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere was arrested in the early hours of the morning following a “fracas”, according to a spokesman for the player.

Wilshere, who came on as an 84th-minute substitute in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Blackburn, was arrested but released on bail.

The statement, issued by the Wasserman Media Group on behalf of the 18-year-old, went on to assert Wilshere was “unlikely” to face charges.

Young Chicharito has only been in England for a short time and he is already turning the heads of the ladies. It is reported that Killa Malqui, a 20-year old British socialite has the hots for the Mexican striker. Killa is of Peruvian and Indian roots and is a busy socialite involved in the community, she also attends Imperial College, one of the most recognized schools of England.

Apparently she was impressed by Chicharito and invited him and his family to have dinner in her home. Sources are saying that she is making an attempt to woo the young Manchester United striker. Not bad for one month in town!

Carly Cole paid a visit to the Liverpool club store to pick up what looks like some Liverpool jerseys.  You have to love it when a player’s wife puts the pocket book behind her husband’s team and buys merchandise that I am sure she could easily get for free. Carly knows who pay the bills!!!

The Beckham’s are possibly the coolest family in the entire world. As parents you couldn’t ask for two that are more in the know and the essence of cool. Most parents want to take you fishing in Yosemite or sightseeing at some irrelevant city on the East coast. Not this family, they hang out in a ridiculous Santa Barbara beach house with Gordon Ramsey and his family. Big props to David and Victoria for being the ultimate parents! I wonder what Gordon Ramsey is cooking for dinner tonight.

Francesco Totti’s wife Ilary Blasi in Vanity Fair looking quite fine indeed. Totti is the man in Italy and beloved by the Roma fans, his wife is fitting of such a grand personality. Today Roma drew a relatively manageable Champions League group that includes Bayern Munich, FC Basel,  and CFR Cluj.
