The Nike Brazil Black Pack
Posted by admin on Apr.26, 2010, under Fashion No Comments
Nike have made a limited edition twist on the Brazil kit and training gear, as well as the N98 jacket, M65 Jacket and a bunch more stuff…
What do you think? I actually really like it. I like it so much in fact, that I went to Nike Town in Beverly Hills yesterday to pick some up… however, they didn’t have any out on the shelves, and the guy working the soccer section knew nothing about it. Frustrating. We’re gonna try and get ahold of some, i’ll let you know how that pans out, but this is some very very cool gear! Well done Nike!
I think Jetski and Mat would look pretty banging walking down the streets of LA in these…
According to Nike Sportswear Apparel Design Director Jarrett Reynolds, “The Brazil kit, in particular was full of amazing innovations”. The Nike Sportswear team retained silhouettes from the football kit and remixed them in all black– the color of toughness. This is quite a revolutionary change from Brazil’s signature bright yellow, green and blue uniforms. By stripping away the festive colors and amplifying the key Brazilian Yellow (used in the Brazilian crest), the designers not only retains the Brazilian tenacity (the Brazil team is a five-time champion!) but also adds a purposeful coolness and resilience to the kit.
The Brazil Black Pack consists of the N98 Track Jacket, M65 packable jacket, Destroyer Jacket, Loopwheeler AW77 hoodie and crew, Windrunner, jersey, short and cap for players to mix and match to showcase their individual style in preparation for the games.
Jetski’s Fitness Quest… week 5
Posted by admin on Apr.20, 2010, under Originals (1) Comment
So week 5 commenced of my fitness quest yesterday. I have changed things up a bit and am now using the TRX suspension training kit to get some more depth on my push ups. This way, instead of getting easier, it just gets harder…
I’m not where I want to be yet. The hardest thing is eating right, which I am doing… but I love chocolate chip cookies! Another thing that is slightly holding me back is the amount of cardio that I can do. I have a partial tear in my Achilles tendon which means no soccer… so I have to solely rely on my boxing for my cardio…
I reckon 2 more months like this and i’ll be ready for summer!
Pic du Jour: Jetski, Temryss Lane, Mat and Carmen watching the Leo Messi show…

I mean, it wasn’t really a Barcelona vs Arsenal game was it? I mean, without him, we would have won 1-0 right? Like my way of thinking? Good
We caught the game at Dillon’s Irish Bar in Hollywood, California with Ajax America players, Temryss Lane (also of Fox Football Fone In) and Carmen Bognanno. If you’re ever in Hollywood, this is where you will find us watching the game… friendly staff, great TV’s and good food. Jetski even had a cake to drown his Messi sorrows!
Jetski’s Fitness Quest, Week 3: Special Services Training
Posted by admin on Apr.06, 2010, under Originals (1) Comment
So it’s week 3 of my fitness quest. I started off at 160 pounds, I just weighed myself and i’m 162 pounds!
Being a certified Personal Trainer, I’m not at all worried that I have gained weight, basically, muscle weighs more than fat. That’s what I’m telling myself at least! I’ve been following a popular ninety day workout program, that is really hard, and i’ve also been following a program called ‘One Hundred Pushups’. As with most workouts, mixed with my A.D.D. I get bored quickly, and fortunately, I have a few very fit friends… who used to be in the Special Services in England.
Now… I’m not naming these guys, because they might kill me (kidding), and I’m not going to mention what particular forces they were in. Just know this… their workouts are insane. My friend, we’ll cal him Owain Glyndwr, had me lifting 50Ib, 70Ib, and 90Ib medicine balls. Didn’t know they existed did you? Well, they do. He had me doing stuff with them, straight into push ups (of course they were horrific push ups, not regular ones), then core, then the med balls again. Just as I thought we were finished (Owain likes to give it the impression that every set is the last one, then he adds another on… for fun?), he added in some sprawls (think UFC, did I not mention… in Owain’s spare time, he is an amateur cage fighter?) jump into fighting position, 4 punches, 2 knees, back down to sprawl. Repeat 15 times. 3 sets.
I woke up this morning comfortably numb from that workout. Don’t mistake the above for complaining, I love it… but alas, I slept in a strange position and my neck is hurting so it looks like i’m out for a few days, just as my momentum was hitting its peak…

Here we are pimping our new Nike N98 Jackets at the Futsal field on top of the Montalban Theatre! Why is Mat tweaking Landon Donovan’s nipple? I don’t know, you would have to ask him…
The Final Third spends a day at The Nike Montalban Theatre!

The Final Third boys, Mat Davis and Jetski pay a visit to the Nike Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
Nike have transformed the theatre into a soccer fans dream, with the biggest HD screens in Los Angeles, a Nike Sportswear store, where they can customize an N98 jacket for you, and oh, did we mention that they have built a football field on top it?
Take a look as Mat and Jetski spent the day there…

The Final Third on E! Entertainment Kendra Show!
Posted by admin on Mar.24, 2010, under Originals No Comments
The Final Third boys went to play some soccer yesterday in scenes filmed for E! Entertainment’s ‘Kendra’ show!
It was a classic ‘Guys against Girls’ game, similar to the ones we do at the ‘Field of Dreams’, but this time, the girls really took it to us. They stormed ahead to a 3-0 lead, with Jetski squandering chance after chance by doing tricks all the time… After some hard work in the 80 degree Chatsworth sunshine, the guy’s ended up winning 5-4, but we’re sure E! will edit that part out! Who scored the winner? Your very own Jetski of course!
As you can see, The Final Third regulars, Fox Football Fone In’s Temryss Lane, Celebrity Personal Trainer Nicky Hollender, L.A. Galaxy midfield maestro Chris Birchall, ‘The Bachelor’ host Chris Harrison and ‘Tricks by a Girl’ star Sheuneen Ta were playing as well as WPS star Christie Shaner. Who’s the guy covering his face? That’s Karl Brazil, one of the world’s best known drummers. Jetski caught up with him after the game, and we’ll post that interview soon.
Was Kendra any good? You’ll have to watch the show when it airs…
